ACCESSIBILITY COMMITMENT
UMS believes that experiencing live music as a community increases inclusion, joy, and belonging. Yet for many music lovers and musicians with disabilities, the full experience is often out of reach. That's why we're committed to making the UMS experience accessible. We know that it will take time and ongoing engagement to meet the ever-changing needs of a dynamic, diverse community of music lovers
Over the past three years, we’ve built an accessibility program rooted in feedback from disabled artists, attendees, and community members.
In 2025, we’re strengthening what works: real-time access updates, onsite support, cool-down spaces, and partnerships with the disability community to keep learning forward.
What’s New for 2025:
We’ve made several updates this year to make UMS more accessible, easier to navigate, and more responsive to access needs:
Box Office & Accessibility Booth at Ellsworth & Broadway
The main box office and the Accessibility Booth are now located at Ellsworth & Broadway—between the two main stages..
Accessibility guides, fans, and festival schedules in multiple formats (including large print and QR code) will be available at all four box office locations: Main, Backyard, Underground, and Oasis.New: Get Loud Stage
The Get Loud and Showcase Stages are now located across from each other, with entrances that face one another—making it easier to move between sets and reducing crowd density.Improved Entrance at Showcase Stage
The Showcase entrance now has a flatter path, with four wide entry lanes and one large exit lane to improve flow for all attendees.
